have a fountain that needs 3 light to be lit from all sides. this is the only 3 light pond equip i have been able to find so i am stuck with this model. mine typically dies in about a year every year, the cable runs are getting shorter and shorter as are the connectors between the individual lights. and with each new revision in this product the bulbs fry faster and faster. on this last install am getting 3 months per bulb rather than a whole spring summer fall. but i am stuck with needing a 3 light source. oh well, it's only money....right?

The product feels very cheap, but after getting it installed, it works pretty good. The lights are not very bright. I adjusted the flow and it can shoot anywhere from 1 foot to about 5 feet in the air. The 3 tiered head doesn't look like the photo, but still looks good. If you are looking for an affordable fountain that looks pretty nice, this is it.

Tetra Pond Triple Light Set can be used underwater or outside of pond. Complete set includes: 3 low-voltage 10-watt lights (with MR 11 bulbs), transformer (12 volt with 120-watt power supply), 20 foot light cable, and red, yellow, and blue lenses. 1 year limited warranty.
The two problems we found with this product were: 1. There was not enough space between the lights to place easily in the pond (and we have a small pond). 2. The colored lenses to place over the lights were not dark enough (so the blue light still looked clear, the red and yellow were just not nice looking). The main problem though is that I paid nearly $9.00 for shipping, then had to pay for the return shipping PLUS had to pay a restocking fee to the company. Felt this was very unfare.

After one of my lights got waterlogged and corroded internally, I shopped and found this unit. In place of 25 watts halogen, 3 watts LED. And it's not just bright for an LED - it's really bright - equivalent to the other halogen fixtures and with the same light color as the halogens; not at all the blue-greeny 'white' that some LEDs have. The housing is a fairly heavy chunk of metal, not plastic; the waterproofing seems good; I also used plumbers thread compound to further block water - but keeping water out will be a wait and see over some seasons. A tad pricey; I'm hoping it's a good as it looks.

This item might be fine for a murky pond but not good for a swimming pool. I knew this product had to be plugged in but the manufacturer wasn't smart enough to combine the power cord for the pump and the power cord for the LED lights. So when it's going in the pool you can see a real thick power cord for the pump and another for the lights going out the side of the pool across the patio. Also, in the provided picture on the product page you can not see the pump. They weren't smart enough to make the pump inside the floating disk - it hangs down about a foot below the disk. It looks as though someone went to Home Depot, bought a pond pump and connected it with a tube and some automobile hose clamps to the floating disk. So, if you are using this product in a murky pond - all of what I've written is irrelevant.

I bought these solar lights to replace a transformer light in my pond. Main focus was on fountain, where i can see fountain from my kitchen window. Well this is a success. After some altering locations, I have found the spot that these work great. It is always so nice to see fountain at night. I'm amazed some days I wake up and look out in morning(still dark out) and lights are going strong. Seems alittle expensive but I'm sure I am saving money by not using electricity. Only down side is length between 3 lights.

These lights are multi-purpose as they can be used underwater or in open air installations
These were terrific when first installed. After a few weeks, individual LEDs began to fail. After a few months only one or two in each unit remained. The good news is that they didn't take up much room in the trash.

After trying another brand multiple times (because it was less expensive and available for prime shipping) that arrived not working, I went with these (the next less expensive prime option and halogen vs. LED). They have worked since installation w/o issue. The length or cord between the lights could be a bit greater - if you get these, your lights will be pretty close together. If that works for you, these are the ones.
